Turning Back Time

Sometimes I wish I could turn back time and start my life over to redo all the mistakes I've made through time. Even go as far as hitting a refresh button, or saving my life to redo a mistake and keep redoing it in order to get it right, much like the song "Saved" by ALL CAPS. But we don't have a working Time Turner and life isn't a video game to pause, rewind, or start over. Life is full of mistakes and regrets you can't take back or redo. You have to learn to accept them in order to move on with your life. Hopefully, you'll be able to learn from those mistakes and regrets in order to not repeat them and be able to start anew and move forward in life without dwelling on things you can't change.

Of course, you have those select few people that will judge you for those mistakes no mater how big or small and hold it against you for what seems like eternity. However, we all make mistakes and have regrets, it's a part of life. Your friends need to be able to accept those mistakes as you have, and move on as well. If they're willing to hold mistakes you've made in your past against you, perhaps, they're really not true friends. This also goes for boyfriends/girlfriends. If that guy you like is going to hold a mistake/regret you made in your past against you as well, something you can't change, perhaps they aren't the one for you. Even though it may hurt for awhile, you must move on to someone who will accept those mistakes, regrets, and accept you for who you are instead of trying to change you and make you feel horrible for those mistakes you've made and have already overcome, but instead continually bring you down for those mistakes. Acceptance of those mistakes is a major priority, if you can accept your past mistakes and regrets, then other people will too.

Oh, what have I been doing? :)

Classes have started up this week, and has been kind of intriguing. But I bet you're all wondering what I was up to before classes started. Well, Christmas Break was fairly boring, I was here mostly and spent most of it watching various television shows online, which I mentioned in my previous blog. The week following that all I did was work, and watch some of those shows again. Once my roommate returned we watched all of "Glee" together and "The Vampire Diaries" and then as a late birthday present she bought me "Glee" Season 1 Volume 1, exciting.

Since then this past Thursday classes started, which I thought was fairly stupid, because we go to class for 2 days followed by a 3-day-weekend. Anyways, some of my classes seem like they'll be fairly interesting and I'm looking forward to a great semester. Owl City will be performing on Campus on Wednesday, however, my friend didn't by me a ticket so I can't go, and I have to work, I'm not a happy camper. On the bright side, 3 months from tomorrow I get to go to The Hallows and Horcruxes Ball 3 which will be held on Campus again this year!!! EXCITED already!! :) Bands include: Ministry of Magic, The Remus Lupins, The Parselmouths, The Moaning Myrtles, Gred and Forge, The Whomping Willows, and Justin Finch-Fletchly and the Sugar Quills. DATE: April 17th , 2010. More info will be provided in the future here and on my youtube channel.

Well, as much as I would like to continue rambling, I must say adieu and do my homework.
